Mavericks beat Clippers 101-90 in Dallas to take a 2-1 series lead

Doncic scored 22 points, grabbed 10 boards, and was an assist shy of a triple-double with 9 to help the Dallas Mavericks win against the Los Angeles Clippers 101-90 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, to take a 2-1 lead in its 1^st round Western Conference matchup.

Dallas played the same defense that gave them home-court advantage with a Game 2 win in California and triumph at American Airlines Center 3 years after losing all 3 1^st-round matches at their venue in a 7-match elimination to the Clippers. Game 4 is on Sunday in Dallas.

Rookie Dereck Lively II notched all 13 of his points in the 1^st half, as Kyrie Irving notched 19 of his 21 points near the end of the 3^rd quarter and in the 4^th quarter, including 8 in the last 78 seconds of the 3^rd quarter and was crucial in getting back his team 18-point lead back after Los Angeles cut it to 6.

James Harden notched 21 points for LA, but just 7 in the 2^nd half, while the other superstar Paul George and Kawhi Leonard disappointed as George had 7 points while Leonard 9. Normal Powell also finished with 21 points, just like the Beard.
