Al-Ettifaq have submitted a loan deal for Manchester United’s striker Jadon Sancho , but it unfortunately for them it has failed as they were unable to meet the Red Devils’ asking price.
The 23-year-old has had an infamous fall-out with manager Erik Ten Hag over the weekend and the winger was keen to move away from Old Trafford.
Ten Hag stated that Sancho wasn’t picked for the squad in Arsenal’s defeat, because he didn’t train well in the week. The winger, however, struck back by claiming he is being used as ‘a scapegoat’.
It’s understood that the Saudi Pro League club and United were in contact through intermediaries over Sancho who expressed an interest in moving to the Middle East.
United were even ready to release Sancho on loan for free, but Al-Ettifaq simply could not afford.
