Saudi Arabia’s side Al-Ittihad have reportedly offered £40m for Liverpool’s Fabinho.
As a result the 29-year-old has been left out of the Reds’ training camp in Germany, before the matter gets settled.
Earlier this week Jordan Henderson was also became a target for a Saudi Arabia club, but the Merseyside’s captain was permitted to travel to Germany.
Fabinho has been a part of Liverpool since 2018, when he joined from Monaco for an estimated fee around £39m.
In his spell he has won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
The Reds are currently rebuilding their midfield after the departures of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner.
The new names, who have arrived are Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hungary captain Dominik Szoboszlai, who was acquired from RB Leipzig.
