Allen opens the Bills’ new venue with a 5-TD game and win vs. Lions

Don’t think too much about the official name of the Buffalo Bills’ new venue. It’s Josh Allen’s house.

The QB swiftly put his stamp on Highmark Stadium by throwing 3 TD passes and running for 2 more scores in a 41-31 triumph against the Detroit Lions on TNF in the 1^st regular-campaign match at the over 2 billion dollar stadium.

And the only time Josh felt emotional was before the beginning of the game, during the performances of the anthems of the USA and Canada.

“In that moment I realized that I have the best job in the world,” the Bills quarterback shared after the game. “It is my dream to be a QB in the NFL. I’m just even more fortunate to have ended up being in Buffalo.”

Josh scored the 1^st TD at the new facility on a 1-yard plunge almost 6 minutes after the start of the match. Allen’s 2^nd rushing touchdown, a 2-yard run, was the 83^rd of his career, tying him for 18^th on the league list with Jim Taylor.
