Alvaro Arbeloa has shared that for him it was unjust for Eduardo Camavinga to be shown 2nd yellow card and being sent off during Los Blancos’ dramatic UCL ¼ final exit against Bayern Munich. The Royal club manager has questioned the official’s competence after a chaotic 6-4 aggregate loss ended Real’s hopes of winning a 16th Champions League trophy.
Arbeloa revealed that official Slavko Vincic lacked the basic awareness of which footballers had already been booked.
The manager shared that the referee only shown 2nd yellow to Camavinga after being prompted by Bayern Munich footballers, and that affected the whole tie.
“Nobody understands how a footballer can be shown 2nd yellow card for a thing like that… it feels awful and unjust. I believe the official showed him a yellow because he didn’t realize he already had one… because the home players had to go and tell him it was his 2nd, but for me, it’s not even a yellow-card offense,” claimed Alvaro.

He doesn’t seem ready to fight for his team, no reaction to bad decisions, no pressure on the referees. The players are left to deal with everything themselves. pic.twitter.com/tKmcHx4Q2p
