The Gunners had some difficulties against the Toffees

Arsenal beat Everton 1-0 away at Goodison Park in a match of the fifth round of the Premier League. The only goal was scored by the substitute Leandro Trossard in the 69th minute.

The win sent the Gunners up to 4th place in the standings, level on points with Tottenham and Liverpool – each having 13.

The first dangerous situation came in the 20th minute. Fabio Vieira picked Gabriel Martinelli into the box and the Brazilian sent the ball into Jordan Pickford’s net, but the goal was disallowed by VAR for an offside by Eddie Nketiah. Four minutes later, Martinelli was forced to be replaced by Trossard.

In the 69th minute, Arsenal took the lead. Bukayo Saka passed the ball to the Belgian, who sent the ball into the left corner and with the help of the sidebar the ball hit the net.
