The Gunners prefer not to get distracted in key title run-in

Arsenal have put the negotiations concerning head-coach Mikel Arteta on hold, as they are keen to fully focus on their next couple of game, that will decide the fate of the Premier League title.

Arteta’s contract expires at the end of 2024-25 season and many top tier teams are monitoring his situation in case he becomes available.

One such example is PSG, who are unlikely to keep their current manager Galtier and rumours further suggest that owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been impressed with the Spaniard’s performances.

Barcelona is the other big name that has shown long term interest in the 41-year old.

Arteta has done a stellar job at Arsenal with the team on course for a first league title since 19 years. He has impressed with dynamic and attractive football that would inevitable have caught the eye of the top European teams.

For the moment Arsenal are keen to keep him, but will delay the contract negotiations in order to pursuit Premier League silverware.
