Arsenal trash Crystal Palace 5-0 to end 4-game winless run

Arsenal won against Crystal Palace 5-0 at Emirates as that was the Gunners 1^st victory in the Premier League in the last 4 matches as Arteta’s side evened with 43 points with Manchester City. Still, the Sky Blues have a game in hand.

Gabriel netted the opening goal in the 11^th minute after Declan Rice’s assist as Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson’s goal in the final minutes of the 1^st half doubled the home side lead.

Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Crystal Palace was their joint-biggest margin of victory in a Premier League London derby and their joint-biggest margin of victory in a Premier League game under Mikel Arteta.

Leandro Trossard made it 3-0 in the 59^th minute as Gabriel Martinelli replaced him 10 minutes later, and the Brazilian himself scored two more goals.

Both Martinelli’s goals were within 1 minute in the extra time as for 4-0 in the 94^th minute, the assist gave him Eddie Nketiah, and for 5-0 in the 95th minute, Jorginho provided the assist.
