Mikel Arteta has shared that his team “has to be in the conversation” regarding Kylian Mbappe’s next club but admitted that Real Madrid is the favorite to land the French superstar.
Kylian confirmed yesterday that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain after the end of the current campaign when his deal expires, as he personally told his team’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Despite Los Blancos being the favorite to sign the forward, the Gunners would welcome him in Arsenal with open hands if he decides that he wants to compete in the Premier League.

During today’s press conference, Mikel Arteta was asked whether the Gunners could compete with Los Blancos and ink the French forward.
“When there is a footballer of that level, Arsenal always has to be in the discussion,” the Gunners’ head coach smiled. “But, as you shared, it looks different; it will be very difficult.”
The North London club is keen to ink a new striker in the upcoming summer transfer window, but landing Mbappe will be very hard.
