The 1st key moment in the match came after only 8 minutes as the referee was called to review his decision not to show a red card to Cesar Azpilicueta, but even after a VAR review, the official decided not to change his decision, and both teams remained with 11 players on the pitch.
However, Barcelona scored in the 27th minute as Lamine Yamal gave a phenomenal assist to Ferran Torres in the penalty box, and Torres scored into the bottom left corner. In the end of the 1st half, Raphinha was close to double his team’s lead, but Juan Musso saved his shot.

At the beginning of the 2nd half, Alexander Sorloth was close to tying the result, but his shot went inches wide of the left post as only a few minutes later, Raphinha had another chance to score for Barca, but again, Musso stopped him.
Alexander Sorloth scored in the 69th minute, but his goal was disallowed for offside.
