The new contract will keep the wide receiver in Chicago until 2029

The Chicago Bears have secured wide receiver DJ Moore with the largest contract extension in the team’s history, a four-year, $110 million deal that will keep him in Chicago through the 2029 season. According to multiple media reports, Moore’s new contract includes $82.6 million in guaranteed money.

Moore was traded to the Bears by the Carolina Panthers in March 2023 and made an immediate impact in his first season. He set career highs with 96 receptions, 1,364 receiving yards, and nine total touchdowns (eight receiving, one rushing). His receiving yards for the season rank among the top performances in Bears history.

The Bears acquired Moore and four draft picks in exchange for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 draft, which the Panthers used to select quarterback Bryce Young from Alabama.
