Bellingham takes home the 2023 Golden Boy Award

Jude Bellingham has triumphed with the 2023 Golden Boy award after a phenomenal year in which he showed that he is the best young player in the world.

England international was the favorite to win the award after how he played for his nation, Borussia Dortmund and Los Blancos, as he beat players like Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich and Alejandro Balde from Barcelona.

The trophy is given to the best footballer who is still not 21 years old in the European continent across a calendar year.

Golden Boy Award was also won by Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi, as last year’s winner was Gavi from Barca.

Other awards given during the ceremony were for the Best European Manager – the Gunners’ sporting director Edu Gaspar triumphed and for the Best European President – Brighton’s Tony Bloom won it.
