It was the Catalans, who took the early initiative with a goal from Ilkay Gundogan inside six minutes.
The former Manchester City player bagged his first goal for his new club after a fine one-two with Ferran Torres.
But up stepped the man of the moment – Jude Bellingham, who once again came to the rescue for Real Madrid as he drew the game level in the 68th minute after a phenomenal strike in the top right corner. It came against the run of play, as Barcelona seemed to be the team in control.
