Branthwaite inks contract extension with Everton

Everton player Jarrad Branthwaite has inked a new deal, committing him to the side until the summer of 2027.

Jarrad (21) joined the Toffees from Carlisle in January 2020 and had been sent on loan twice – to Blackburn and PSV- before becoming part of the club’s 1^st team this campaign.

Branthwaite was also part of the England young squad that triumphed with the European Under-21 Championship during the offseason.

“Since I stepped at Goodison Park, I’ve felt a connection with the team,” shared Branthwaite.

“The stature of the side, how much of a family it is at Everton, and how I just love being here in front of the supporters were key reasons for me inking.

“To sign this new deal was to show my commitment to the Toffees and show how much it means to me to play for the team each game.”
