Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp is to step down from the role at the end of the campaign, claiming that he is “running out of energy”.
The German manager was hired in October 2015, and his deal was due to run until 2026.

Klopp led the Reds to the Champions League in 2019 before winning the club’s 1st Premier League title in 30 years in 2019-20.
“I told the team already in November,” shared Jurgen, who announced his decision today while his team is at the top of the table in the EPL.
“I know that it’s a shock for a lot of people at this moment when you hear it for the 1st time, but obviously, I can explain it – or at least try to do so.
“I love absolutely everything about Liverpool, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our fans, I love the club, I love the staff. I love everything. But despite all that I took, this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the 1 I have to take.
