Denver Broncos suspended safety Kareem Jackson obviously hasn’t learned his lesson after being penalized almost 1 million dollars since the beginning of the campaign for many illegal hits that saw him ejected in numerous matches as the fines resulted in 6 weeks’ worth of salary.
But it’s the NFL’s fault, according to the safety.
Kareem claims that he’s being singled out by the National Football League, and the league fails to answer him on how he must play in the future to avoid such treatment.
The Denver safety spoke with the league’s commissioner, Roger Goodell, 14 days ago after his 2nd suspension, and it didn’t go the way the player thought it would.
“They told me that I’m responsible for the offensive players’ protection,” Jackson shared with the media. “So, now I must think of a way to protect myself and the opposition guys simultaneously that seems almost impossible.”
