The Duke's QB decided to transfer to Notre Dame.

Notre Dame secured his top QB target today, as the rumor became a reality when Duke transfer Riley Leonard shared on social media that he will continue his college football career with the Fighting Irish.

He will be able to compete immediately for Notre Dame in what will be his final season of eligibility. Riley emerged as 1 of the elite footballers in the portal after an amazing back-to-back campaign at Duke, where the program had 2 high-end campaigns with him on the field.

The crucial reason Leonard chose to continue his career at Notre Dame came from his family. His great-grandfather was part of the school and played football there. Riley grew up in Alabama, but his favorite school since a young age is Notre Dame, as his preferred move is “Rudy.”

Leonard will become a QB1 at the Fighting Irish immediately.
