The Minnesota Twins have decided to sign to a 1-season, 5.25 million dollar contract the free agent Carlos Santana.
New #MNTwins 1B/DH Carlos Santana has a .527 slugging percentage with the bases loaded. That’s his highest in any base occupation combination.

Carlos played in 146 matches in the past campaign split between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers and had a .240 average with 23 home runs and 86 RBIs.
The veteran (37) stats in his career in the MLB posted a .242 average with 301 home runs and 1,011 RBIs in 1,930 matches in the league.
Santana became part of the MLB back in 2010, and except for the Pittsburgh and Milwaukee, he has also played for the Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, Philadelphia Phillies, and Cleveland Guardians.
However, on social media, Twins supporters labeled the deal for Santana as overpaid, as they thought that he didn’t deserve this kind of money with his recent performances in the league.
