Michael Carrick has shared with his footballers not to “over celebrate” UCL qualification, which is not an act after a 2-1 EPL victory against Brentford yesterday.
The Red Devils fans also chanted for Casemiro to stay for another season, but Michael revealed that the Brazilian will leave after the end of the campaign as they will try to refresh the squad in the summer.
The manager of the club from Old Trafford refused to celebrate the Champions League qualification and rather said that the ambitions of a club like Manchester United are the titles:
“It’s great that we will play in the UCL next season, but it’s not something we should be very proud of. We must continue to play well until the end of the season and improve so we can fight for titles in the future, as that’s the main goal of our club.”
Incredible atmosphere at Old Trafford. We're very close to reach our goal !!!! Come on Reds !!! 🔴 pic.twitter.com/scBGTAYq8b
