Houston Rockets defeated Los Angeles Lakers 115-96 to keep the matchup alive and avoid sweep as the Texas team forward Alperen Sengun finished with 19 points and revealed after the match that he still believes that he and his teammates can win the series, but that will not be easy as the next clash is in LA:
“I know that we can eliminate Lakers and just wanted to let the world know,” shared Alperen as the matchup moves back to California for Game 5 in 2 days.
“I’m very happy that we played like a team today and we accomplished everything that we failed to do in the previous matches against the Lakers. I hope that we will show again our best level in Game 5,” added the Rockets forward.
“I’m proud of my teammates,” Klay revealed after the Houston’s triumph. “We had to win that game and we did it. It was the 1st time in this match that we scored our chances and scored a lot during the Lakers turnovers.”
The Rockets forced Los Angeles in 24 turnovers and scored 30 points from them. Eason became the 1st Houston basketballer to shoot at least 70% in a postseason match with 20 points and 5 steals.
