The Brazilian missed three games and returned, but will be out again for at least one week
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro will miss Saturday’s away game with Fulham in the English Premier League due to an injury, team manager Erik ten Hag announced.
The Brazil international picked up an injury in last night’s Newcastle 0-3 defeat in the League Cup and was forced off by Sofyan Amrabat at half-time.
“He got the injury right before the break. That’s why I had to replace him. We’ll wait 24 hours, but he’s definitely out for the game on Saturday,” Ten Hag said right after the game, but did not specify exactly what the 31-year-old midfielder’s injury was.
Casemiro was out of action for weeks after the international break and missed the clashes against Sheffield, Copenhagen and Manchester City.
