Tatum scores 25 points for Boston, who avenged their previous defeat to Charlotte

Jayson Tatum led the charge with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Sam Hauser caught fire from beyond the arc, draining seven 3-pointers en route to 25 points, as the Boston Celtics secured a convincing 118-104 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night.

Contributing to the Celtics’ balanced offensive attack, Kristaps Porzingis tallied 20 points, while Derrick White flirted with a double-double of his own, recording 19 points and nine rebounds. The victory marks the Celtics’ 11th win in their last 13 games, showcasing their formidable form as they continue to climb the standings.

Hauser’s sharpshooting prowess was on full display, connecting on 7 of 11 attempts from beyond the arc. In total, the Celtics drained an impressive 19 3-poInters against the Hornets, seeking redemption for an earlier loss in the season.

Despite the Hornets’ efforts, led by Miles Bridges with 26 points and 11 rebounds, along with strong performances from Grant Williams (23 points) and Brandon Miller (19 points), they couldn’t withstand the Celtics’ offensive onslaught.

With this victory, the Celtics not only avenged their previous defeat to the Hornets but also showcased their depth and scoring versatility, positioning themselves as a formidable force in the league.
