The Blues eliminated their opponent in a matchup from the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Chelsea won against Preston 4-0 at Stamford Bridge as all of the goals were scored in the 2nd half, and the Blues advanced to the 1/16 finals of the FA Cup.

Armando Broja, who needs to prove himself, netted the 1st goal in the match in the 58th minute after Malo Gusto’s assist.

Thiago Silva doubled the team from Stamford Bridge lead with his goal in the 66th minute after Cole Palmer’s assist, as only 3 minutes later, Raheem Sterling made it 3-0 and left no doubt who would win the match in London.

Enzo Fernandez made it 4-0 two minutes before the end of the regular time.

That was a very important victory for Pochettino’s side as they sit 10th in the Premier League, and the only chance for the team in the current season to win a trophy is the FA Cup.

The Blues form is improving as they won 3 of their last 4 matches in the league and now are in a series of 3 consecutive victories in all competitions.
