Chelsea fans furious at Sterling for missed chances

Chelsea’s fans have expressed their anger at Raheem Sterling for wasting a clear cut chance in their 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton at Molineux.

The former Manchester City’s star was put in three-on-one situation against Wolves’ goalkeeper with two options to his left. However, the 29-year-old opted to shoot instead of passing, prompting a fine save from Jose Sa.

This action was heavily condemned by the Blues’ supporters, who were at a loss why did Sterling opt to go alone in this kind of situation.

“That is unfathomably bad from Sterling. Has been bright so far but that is atrocious decision making.” wrote one fan.

Another added: “Raheem Sterling that is absolutely disgraceful oh my god.”

In the end, Chelsea succumbed to yet another Premier League defeat, their 4th consecutive away loss, which keeps them in an unimpressive 10th position.
