Chelsea could potentially be handed points deduction after leaked documents reveal a handful of payments, which have breached the FFP rules under the Roman Abramovich’s tenure, reports say.

The enigmatic Russian left Stamford Bridge in March 2022 after being sanctioned by the government following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He sold the club to Todd Boehly for £4.2b, but investigations over his tenure has revealed some infringements.
The transactions in question are connected with offshore vehicles, belonging to Abramovich, which seems to be beneficial to people around Chelsea.
The potential beneficiaries are Antonio Conte’s associate, Eden Hazard’s agent and other high-profile officials.
Chelsea was already fined by the UEFA after current owners revealed that “not sufficient information was submitted” by the previous ownership.
But the new reveals question whether Abramovich has constantly undermined the FFP rules, which, if proven true, may cost his former team a handful of points.
