Wolverhampton defeated an utterly disappointing Chelsea 2-1 at Molineux Stadium on Saturday.

Second-half goals from Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty was enough to seal the deal for the hosts, who recorded successive league wins against Chelsea for the first time in nearly half a century.
Substitute Christopher Nkunku reduced the deficit in injury time, but his effort would prove to be a mere consolation. It is the Blues’ 4th consecutive away game loss in the Premier League, their worst run since December 2000.
Unironically, Chelsea had the initiative early on, but were just unable to convert their chances. The Stamford Bridge team has now wasted 36 big chances, more than anybody else this season.
“We feel very disappointed because I think we deserve much more. This competition wounds you when you are not clinical enough.” Pochettino said.
“We created chances, that is why it is so disappointing. We conceded after a few corners and it was really difficult.”
The result leaves Chelsea in 10th position, 7 points off the closest spot, which guarantees European football.
