Chelsea secured their 1st victory in the new EPL season after completing a comeback vs. West Ham United at London Stadium in the opening match of the 2nd week of the Premier League.
Things began very positively for West Ham as Lucas Paqueta scored a phenomenal goal from outside the box in the 6th minute.
However, Paqueta can be blamed for Chelsea’s equalizer as he allowed Cucurella to play with his head after a corner and to assist Joao Pedro, who tied the result in the 15th minute. In the 23rd minute, the Blues already had the lead as this time Joao Pedro found Pedro Neto, who escaped from the defense and scored from close range.

In the 34th minute, Chelsea already had 2-goal lead as Estevao assisted in the box, Enzo Fernandes, the Argentinian, scored with a great shot in the middle of the goal.
In the 2nd half, the Blues scored two more goals that came after corners. Moises Caicedo made it 4-1 in the 54th minute after a huge mistake by the Hammers goalkeeper, as only 4 minutes later the result was 5-1 for Chelsea, as Joao Pedro assisted Trevoh Chalobah, who scored the final goal in the match.
