Zach LaVine finished the game with five three-pointers

DeMar DeRozan scored 28 points and Zach LaVine amassed 22 as Chicago Bulls beat the Celtics 121-107 on Monday night to snap Boston’s nine-game winning streak.

“Big time,” LaVine, who finished the game with five three-pointers, said.

“We’ve lost a lot in a row, and they’ve won a lot in a row. I think we’re a really good team, but we go through little lapses or times where we play bad. That’s how fast the game can change.”

“Everybody has a career-worst night,” LaVine said. “Everybody in the NBA has. I guess that was my night.”

Chicago ended a four-game slide, improving to 2-1 against the Celtics this season.

Patrick Williams scored a season-high 17 points for the Bulls, Nikola Vucevic notched 12 points, 13 rebounds and six assists and Andre Drummond grabbed 12 boards.

Boston’s Jayson Tatum had 28 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Jaylen Brown scored 25 points, Malcolm Brogdon had 23.
