The Chicago Blackhawks inked attacker Jason Dickinson to a 2-year, 8.5 million dollar deal extension today.
Jason (28) has already netted a career-high 14 goals with 7 assists in 43 matches for the franchise since the beginning of the campaign, his 2nd season with the Blackhawks.
The deal will run through the 2025-26 season as the forward is currently in the final year of a 3-year, almost 8 million-dollar deal. His new contract will have an average annual value of over 4 million dollars.
He became part of Chicago after being acquired from the Vancouver Canucks shortly before the beginning of the past campaign.
The Canadian forward has 53 goals and 72 assists in 404 matches in the NHL with the Stars, Canucks, and his current team. Dickinson also has 5 goals and 4 assists in 40 postseason matches with Dallas.
