Manchester City take on League leaders Arsenal on April 26 at the Etihad Stadium in a crunch clash, that will have a huge impact in the outcome of this year’s title.
However, in a pre-match press conference the managers of both teams were adamant that the match itself will not decide the title.
“It is really important, but not decisive because there are many games to play,” City boss Guardiola said.
“If we win tomorrow we have not won the league. It will shift probably the percentage, but five games in this league is very tricky still,” said Arteta in correspondence.
“We knew we had to go to Etihad, it will be difficult, but will it decide the season? No,” he added.
Arsenal lead Manchester City by 5 points, but the Citizens have two games in hand. And with the Gunners recent blunders the momentum has definitely shifted towards Pep Guardiola’s men.
