The LA team finally has something to cheer for

The Los Angeles Clippers finally end their curse as they record a first win with their new mega signing James Harden to stop a 6-game skid.

The Clippers came out on top against the Houston Rockets 106-100 in a tightly-contested match in the NBA In-Season Tournament on Friday night.

And fittingly it was Harden at the center of it all as his tiebreaking 3-pointer with six seconds left, in which he was fouled was the difference maker between the two forces. He finished with a season-high 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists against his former team.

Kawhi Leonard added two free throws in the final second to finish with 26 points and spare Clippers the blushes as they end their longest losing streak since 2019.

Paul George also had a solid outing with 23 points and 8 rebounds.

Alperen Sengun was the leading force for the Rockets with 23 points and 8 rebounds as they had to say goodbye to the 6-game winning streak. Jalen Green notched 20 points, while Fred VanVleet added another 19, along with 10 assists.
