The hosts were the classier side and never let the match slip out of their hands.
A swing of 3 goals in the space of 7 minutes towards the end of the first half completely shattered Udinese’s hopes, who were defending quite decently up until that point.
First Hakan Calhanoglu was spot on from the penalty kick, followed by Federico Dimarco, who doubled Inter’s lead.
Only 2 minutes later Marcus Thuram scored the third to put the game beyond Udinese.
The second half was more or less a procession with substitute Lisandro Martinez scoring and rounding up the final scoreline of 4-0.
The 3 points help Simone Inzaghi’s men climb to the top again with 38 points, 2 clear from their nearest challenger – Juventus.
