Denmark manager Brian Riemer has revealed he faces a selection nightmare unlike anything he has seen before, as another player from his squad is injured. The Red Devils’ rising star was forced to withdraw from the team after limping out of a recent Nations League win.
Dorgu had to leave the Denmark camp yesterday after suffering an injury during the 2-0 win against Wales. The Man United player is the latest footballer on Riemer’s unavailable list, which includes Andreas Christensen, Alexander Bah, Albert Gronbaek, and Kasper Dolberg.
“Dorgu will go home now as he will not be ready to play next week. Soon it will become clear how long he will not be able to play,” the Danish boss shared with the media.
Because of the injuries, the manager admitted that he will need to call up at least 1 replacement to bolster his options on the wings.
Rasmus Hojlund also talked about Dorgu’s injury, saying it is very unfortunate for both Denmark and his former team, Man United.
