Grigor Dimitrov breezed past Andy Murray to reach US Open third round. The Bulgarian let his opponent win just eight games in their clash, winning 6-3; 6-4; 6-1 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Dimitrov took control early on and got his break in the first opportunity he had. Murray managed to re-break, but lost his serve again in the eight game before Dimitrov finished the set 6-3.

The second set started as the first finished – Murray lost his service game and Dimitrov took quick 3-1 lead. Afterwards he managed to keep Murray at bay at his games and won 6-4.
The third set started a bit strange with three consecutive breaks, but Dimitrov switched the gears and combining his good play with Murray’s fatigue, finished the job with 6-1. In third round Alexander Zverev will meet the Bulgarian as the German defeated his fellow countryman Daniel Altmaier.
