Serbian ace Novak Djokovic has equaled German tennis icon Steffi Graf’s record for most weeks as world number one after begining his 377th week at the top of the ATP rankings.
The 35-year-old first became world number one in 2011 and like Graf, is a 22-time Grand Slam champion.
After first becoming world number one, the German remained at the top of the women’s rankings for 186 consecutive weeks, a record that was later tied by American Serena Williams in 2016.
Djokovic’s longest continuous run at the top was 122 weeks between July 2014 and November 2016. For that record, he trails Roger Federer (237 weeks), Jimmy Connors (160) and Ivan Lendl (157).
Russian Daniil Medvedev stormed back into Top 10 after winning the title at the Rotterdam Open on Sunday.
The 27-year-old, who won his 16th career title, climbed to eighth place as the Top 7 positions remained unchanged.
Felix Auger-Aliassime and Holger Rune have dropped one position, Jannik Sinner, who reached the final in Rotterdam, rose to No. 12, gaining two places.
