The world number 1 closed the 1st set 6-0 for only 34 minutes, and he needed only 1 more minute to do the same in the 2nd set.

In the 3rd set, Novak broke Adrian’s serve only once, but that was enough to win it 6-3 games for 37 minutes and close the match in straight sets.
That was the Serbian easiest victory in the Australian Open since the beginning of the tournament, as in his opening 2 matches, he even lost 1 set in each.
Djokovic will face either Fritz or Tsitsipas in the Australian Open quarterfinals.
