Green Bay missed a lot of perfect chances to upset San Francisco and lost in the end.

Christian McCaffrey scored his 2nd TD on a 6-yard run with over a minute to play, and the San Francisco 49ers mounted their 1st 2nd half comeback of the campaign to defeat the Green Bay Packers 24-21 in a divisional-round postseason match at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

After spending an all-regular campaign as front-runners, the 49ers (13-5) must throw a comeback to advance, and Brock Purdy and McCaffrey did what must have been done on the last drive to send the franchise to its 3rd consecutive NFC championship match. San Francisco will welcome the winner of tomorrow’s clash between the Bucks and the Lions for a place in the Super Bowl.

“Without a doubt, it’s 4 quarters for a reason, you know? So the way I began the match, it’s like, ‘Man, I must play better; I’ve got to play efficient football,’” Purdy shared after the victory. “But in the most deciding time, with the campaign on the line, you’ve got to do your best for the teammates that are trusting you.”
