The veteran center will meet with the Golden State team next week

Dwight Howard is contemplating a potential move to the Golden State Warriors, according to reports.

The 37-year-old will be meeting with club representatives next week to discuss a swap for the veteran guard.

Howard has had a lifelong career of 18 seasons in the NBA, featuring in 7 teams. He was part of the Lakers team during the 2021-22 campaign, when he made 60 appearances, registering 6.2 points and 5.9 per game.

He has been named All-Star a total of 8 times – the last one dating back to 2014, and has also topped the stats for rebounding 5 times.

Last year Howard departed the NBA to play in Taiwan’s T1 League, where averaged 23.2 points and 16.2 rebounds per game.

The Warriors currently have Draymond Green and Kevon Looney to fill minutes at center, but could be looking for more experience behind the two and Howard might be their best pick.
