The former goalkeeper talked about the head coach of the national team.

Ex-Brazil goalkeeper and manager Emerson Leao has spoken very badly about the new head coach of Brazil, Carlo Ancelotti, and claimed that it is much more difficult to lead this team than to be the boss of Real Madrid. Emerson claims Selecao is getting “worse and worse” and revealed his dissatisfaction with the manager of his country ahead of the World Championship in North America next year.

Leao also didn’t speak well about the current generation of Brazilian managers, claiming that he is very sad that, because of that, the federation hired a foreigner.

“Ancelotti will have a very tough job,” the former goalkeeper started. “In my opinion, Carlo will experience a lot of tough situations, and everyone who is part of his team, not just the footballers, must help him. Because things are only going to get worse for him as the World Cup approaches.”

Leao added that he thinks it is more difficult to lead a national team than in club football, despite Real Madrid being the biggest team in the world, and also revealed that he didn’t think it is an advantage for Ancelotti, because he is European and that could even be a problem as he didn’t know much about the domestic talent.
