Eric Dier has held talks with chairman Daniel Levy over his future at Tottenham Hotspur, reports say.
Dier does not feature in new manager Ange Postecoglou’s plans and has failed to make even an appearance on the bench this season.
The 29-year-old has a year left on his contract, but Spurs have already rejected offers from other teams over the summer.
Dier himself has initiated things with the board in order to get clarity over his situation.
He has been a rock solid defender, enjoying a long, 9-year spell at the club, that might come to premature end. It is unknown yet whether Postecoglou has personal feud with the player or not.
Dier options are limited after the transfer window closed on September 1, but the defender could find himself in the Saudi League, where the transfer window is prolonged until September 15.
