His announcement comes in a week in which his attacker Marcus Rashford has had to take responsibility for what he did off the pitch after being spotted in Belfast nightclubs and missed his team training after calling it sick.
The England forward missed the Red Devils’ FA Cup victory against Newport.
Ten Hag refused to speak directly about Marcus and comment on his situation with the club in his press conference before Thursday’s Man United’s league match against Wolverhampton.
However, the Dutch manager revealed that in this sport, you need discipline, which is valid both on and off the pitch.
“There is a line between every footballer, every professional knows this, what is required.”
Manchester United boss added that Rashford didn’t show him disrespect with his actions lately.
