Europa League group stage draw

The Europa League group stage draw took place today at a special ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

West Ham were drawn with Olynpiacos and Freiburg in Group A, while Group B provides plenty of action with Ajax, Marseille, Brighton and AEK Athens.

The other English team, regarded by many as the favorite – Liverpool, received a pretty friendly match-ups with LASK, Union St-Gilloise and Toulouse in Group E.

Last year’s runners-up Roma will go against Slavia Prague, Sheriff Tiraspol and Servette in Group G.

Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen were paired with Qarabag, Molde and Hacken in the final group H.
