The wide receiver played 8 of his 15 National Football League campaigns with Philly, earning all 3 of his Pro Bowl appearances with the Eagles. DeSean was a match-breaker as a receiver and returner, leading the NFL in yards per reception 4 times.
“DeSean Jackson was a phenomenal playmaker who captivated Philadelphia supporters with his match-breaking speed, unique skill set, and dynamic style,” Philadelphia chairman Jeffrey Lurie announced. “What made him truly stand out from all other players during his 15-season career was his ability to make extremely hard things on the field to look easy.”
