France won against Portugal after a shootout as the two teams failed to score in the 120 minutes before that and Mbappe and his teammates will face Spain at the ½ finals of the Euro 2024. Joao Felix missed the crucial penalty that cost Portugal’s place at the tournament as that was Cristiano Ronaldo last European championship.

We can’t say much about the 1st half as both teams focused on defense, and clear chances for a goal were absent. Not only clear chances, but any chances for a goal didn’t happen as the French team had the only shot on target. No cards were shown either, so we can just forget about the 1st half.
In the 2nd half we saw a lot more action as the French team had 2 golden chances to score but missed them both. Randal Kolo Muani was close to score in the 66th minute but a Portuguese defender blocked him in the last moment. Four minutes later, Eduardo Camavinga received the ball inside the 6-yard box but his shot went wide of the left post.
The greatest chance for Selecao to score came before the 2 chances that France had in the 63rd minute but Vitinha failed to score after being unmarked as Mike Maignan denied him.
