“Visiting some family and friends, that’s about it,” Judge said on a video from the airport.
The Giants have made it known that they would like to add 30-year-old Judge, who just won the 2022 AL MVP last week, and president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi has made it clear the team has the financial capability to sign the Linden native.
Judge recently said that his free agency decision likely will come soon because he wants to give the team that signs him a chance to add other players to improve the roster.
A four-time all-star, Judge smashed an American League record 62 home runs with the Yankees this year en route to being named MVP. He has been a Yankee since breaking into the big leagues in 2016.
