Fury-Usyk rematch set for end of December in Saudi Arabia

The heavyweight rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will be on December 21^st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh revealed today.

Fury-Usyk clash confirmed for December 21 in Saudi Arabia

The Ukrainian became the undisputed heavyweight champ when he defeated his English opponent via a split decision win in their 1^st highly anticipated bout at the beginning of May. One judge gave Tyson the victory as his decision was labeled scandalous by experts.

Oleksandr is the 1^st unified heavyweight champ since Lennox Lewis beat Evander Holyfield in a 1999 rematch in Las Vegas. At the same time, it was Gypsy King’s 1^st loss of his career.

The 2 boxers had inked a 2-fight contract that featured  a rematch on October 12^th, but the two sides reached an agreement for the bout to happen at the end of the year.

Alalshikh confirmed on social media that Riyadh would welcome the rematch and that the world could prepare to watch another historical clash.
