Gauff sets up Swiatek semi-final after defeating Keys

Coco Gauff advanced to the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Championships after beating fellow American Madison Keys 6-2, 7-5 at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Thursday.

Gauff, competing in her 10th quarterfinal across WTA 1000 and Grand Slam tournaments, will face top seed Iga Swiatek for a place in the semi-finals.

Gauff, ranked No 6 in the world, beat Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich (6-0, 6-4) and Kazakh Elena Rybakina in the previous rounds.
