Gavi suffers ACL injury and is out for the rest of campaign

Barca star Gavi almost certainly will miss the rest of this campaign after his team confirmed he had sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament while on duty with Spain yesterday.

The young midfielder (19) has also sustained an associated injury to the lateral meniscus and will undergo the procedure in the upcoming days.

🚨 BREAKING: Gavi has torn his ACL and the meniscus of his knee is also affected.

He will be out for 7-9 months, his season is over — further tests confirm.
