McLaren’s Oscar Piastri finished in the 2nd place, almost 2 seconds behind the winner, ahead of Carlos Sainz who took the last place at the podium.
Max dominated the 1st half of the race, building a lead of 8 seconds ahead of his 2nd pit stop, but a slow tire change allowed Norris to be only 3 seconds behind the Dutch as they returned to the track with 20 laps until the end of the race.
The champion had problems with his car after his last pit stop with his new tyres and by lap 59 of 71 he and Lando were fighting for the win within a second.
