Golden State Warriors player fractured his left hand and will have surgery next week, the NBA organization shared today.
The guard sustained the problem in the 3rd quarter of his team’s 113-109 victory against the Detroit Pistons. With almost 6 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, Chris attempted to collect a long rebound off a missed 3-pointer when his hand awkwardly made contact with Pistons’ Jaden Ivey.

The Warriors player immediately showed that he was in much pain and left the court. It is still unclear when he will be able to play basketball again, but most likely, he will be back in this campaign.
“That’s awful,” manager Steve Kerr shared. “I feel so bad for our guard. I think Chris had a couple of hand procedures before, maybe on the other hand.”
